Sea Temperature: OK
Weather: Sunny mainly

Distance Covered:

First time out since Feb 13. Wind gusty, overpowered at times on 4.7m. Tried more downhaul which helped but still felt too powerful in the gybes. Warrior feels nice in its wind band but tends to flap around a lot when the wind picks up. Would have changed down but there were some big holes in the wind as well as the gusts.

My chop hops seem to have improved since last time; chop was small but the wind direction on port tack let you sail straight at the chop, which certainly makes jumping easier.

Great to be out again, not too cold, and sunny as well.
